Zelda

So, as i said in my previous entry ive decided to cosplay the twilight princess zelda. At first i wanted to cosplay ocarina of time zelda but figured the dress itself would be harder to emulate. Ive never made a dress before and im having to do this by hand since i havent used a sewing machine since high school and im doing this on a budget. After researching zelda and looking at a few images ive decided this image gives me the most strategic view of the dress:

I figured the dress itself is the simplest of the zelda, bar the tapestry hanging from her waist. I think the hardest part will be her diadem, belt and pauldrons. Ill get to that in time though, first the dress!

Me

Ok so before I begin ill tell you a little about me and my blog, My name is kim and currently im a stay at home mum to two adorable children. When not trying to juggle school runs and nappy changes i like to spend my time gaming, reading and watching TV.

Recently I attended my first Comic Con at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena and it was brilliant. So much so im planning to go to the next one scheduled in November and im going to cosplay! After thinking for what seemed like forever but in reality was about a week ive decided to play Princess Zelda in Twilight princess. This seemed quite an easy option, I cant spring for a bought costume so opted to make one instead. During the costume making process i thought i would take pictures and post here documenting how i did things and see how it turns out.

So thats me, and my project. I hope you enjoy my posts and seeing my progress through pictures.

Enjoy!

Kim
